I have been deeply disturbed by the events that have unfolded in Minneapolis in recent weeks and the apparent disregard for the rule of law. I am very sad about the deaths of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Prettinot only because it was an avoidable tragedy, but because the growing Gnosticism in the Evangelical Church seems to legitimize the behavior of people like Good and Pretti. I am afraid the response by progressive media is creating an environment where there is no longer just ethnic Gnosticism, or feminist Gnosticism, or transgender Gnosticism in the church, but now what I call “protestor Gnosticism.”
